Welcome to my BrainBux Review.
There are thousands, probably tens of thousands of companies out there claiming that you can make money online with their website. BrainBux is in that category. Most of these companies are huge scams with wild claims making it seem super simple to make money online with them.
That’s usually not the case.
But today we are going to find out whether or not BrainBux brings anything different to the table. People are desperate to make money from home, especially right now. Don’t get caught up and end up joining or promoting a scam in a attempt to make ends meet.
In this review, I am going to let you know if BrainBux actually works and whether or not it’s a legitimate way to make a couple of extra dollars from home. We are going to break down who owns this company when this company launched and what this company has to offer in terms of making money.
I am not affiliated with BrainBux this means they don’t compensate me at all. This is a unbiased review. Don’t expect to see any affiliate links leading to the BrainBux website to sign up.
Lets get right into the review.

BrainBux Review- The Company
So right off the bat after doing some research on BrainBux I couldn’t find any information on who is running the show. Transparency is important when dealing with companies like this. If people could really make money with your site then why wouldn’t you want to claim it.
This is a red flag. Not disclosing your founders and CEO’s can lead to consumer distrust. This doesn’t automatically make BrainBux a scam but it is something to be wary about. There has to be a reason why they don’t disclose information. It could be a simple issue with privacy.
Or it could be something more sinister like the company being a scam! We will find out though.
The launch date is the only thing I could find on BrainBux. They launched in 2016.
BrainBux Compensation plan
So BrainBux claims to pay you click on ads. We call this a PTC website, PTC means Paid-To-Click. Here’s how this works. BrainBux gets paid to drive traffic to ads. These are the ads you will be clicking on. These advertisers pay BrainBux for every click they drive to the ad. Then BrainBux pays you some of what they get paid.
It’s like a 360 deal in music just replace the music with ads. Everytime Brainbux gets paid for your clicks they pay you.
Now in order to get paid with BrainBux, you have two options. You can, of course click ads or you can recruit people to click ads with BrainBux’s referral system.
I’ll break it down a bit more for you.
BrainBux has three kinds of ads you can click on to make money, which are as follows.
- Micro Ads earn you $0.05 for each view
- Standard Ads earn you $0.10 for each view
- Unclassified Ads are video ads. Your pay depends on how long the video ad runs for.
After clicking on or watching advertisements your payout is sent right to your balance.
This is BrainBux’s primary selling point.
You can also earn money with BrainBux by referring people to join the company. This allows you to receive a commission on every ad they click on.
Now this may seem like a great way to make money but slow your roll!
We are talking pennies on the dollar here. You only earn 10% commissions off of your referral’s earnings. That’s a penny if they earn 10 cents. There’s not much money to be made doing tasks like this so don’t go in thinking BrainBux is going to pay your rent.

This is where most businesses like this reveal themselves as a legit opportunity or a scam. So lets say you made $2.50 and you want to withdraw your money to go buy some toilet paper. Can you actually make that withdrawal?
BrainBux claims to have Instant payouts with no minimum to cash out so in theory you should be able to pull your money out and buy you a roll of bounty.
In reality you can’t and this is where BrainBux shows it’s ugly side. Once you go try and withdraw your money they will tell you that you need to make 100 clicks or upgrade your account.
The account upgrade is $10
Lets say you get those 100 clicks done and out the way then you go back to withdraw. BrainBux will then tell you that you need to recruit 10 people before you can get paid.
You have successfully recruited 10 people. Can you get your payout now? Well no because “payments are disabled at the moment”. Don’t bother checking back next week or next month or in 2032 payments will still be disabled. Even if you invest $10 into the premium membership payouts will still be disabled.
So much for “Instant” payout.
Is BrainBux a scam? My Verdict
BrainBux is Definitely a scam! You will never get paid with BrainBux even if you work for weeks on end. Most people would drop this opportunity once they see that you need 100 clicks to get a payout. The homepage says instant payouts with no minimum but doesn’t mention the 100 clicks or the 10 recruits. Not to mention the disabled payments. They offer a premium membership to get for nothing, you still won’t get paid. Need I say more? This is a scam clear cut
It’s lies like this that make these types of companies a bad idea to get involved with.
I wouldn’t waste my time with BrainBux and I suggest you to do the same.
